What I've been up to lately

It's been a while since I've posted and I'm long overdue.  Since I quit smoking in October my life has gone through a variety of changes in my life.

First of all I did stay smoke free.  It's been 9 months, 20 days, 15 hours and 24 minutes.  Yes I have an app that tells me exactly how long it's been.  I take a look every once in a while to remind myself that I've come a long way.

Second I've turned into a health and fitness fanatic.  Back in May I did a Whole30.  It really opened my eyes into the world of food and what's good for my body.  It turns out that I feel the best when I eat mostly Paleo.  Dairy is a huge issue for me.  If I eat to many grains and simple carbs I don't feel so hot either.

I got a gym membership back in April and haven't looked back.  2 years ago I was a scant size 4 and did not look healthy.  My friends kept saying I looked like an 11 year old boy.  Sure I was skinny but was I healthy? No!

Today I'm a size 6 and weigh about 15 lbs heavier than I did back in those size 4 days and I still look like I weigh 20 lbs less than I do.  I go to the gym ALL the time.  I love it.  I just don't feel right if I don't workout.  Am I totally where I want to be? No but I'm getting there day by day.  Hard work and determination are helping me get there!

The other day a friend of mine convinced me to become a Team Beachbody coach.  I'm SO excited about it and I can't wait to really dive in.  The programs are really great.  'm starting with PiYo which is similar to my Centergy class at my gym.  After that I'm totally hitting Body Beast.
